For the person who wants it all in a wood mulch. This fine-textured hardwood and pine blend has a touch of dye added for gorgeous natural looking garden beds throughout the season. | Pine Bark Pennies
Flecks and shreds of Michigan Red Pine bark in a pretty copper color. The lower pH means higher acid content for your acid loving plants. Your azaleas, rhododendron, hydrangea, woody perennials and evergreen shrubs will love you for an infusion of this lovely mulch. It spreads as smooth as frosting. As soon as it rains (or you water it) the fines slip to the bottom leaving a uniform texture of bark across your landscape beds. Not recommended for steep hillsides, but beautiful anywhere the soil is essentially level.
BEWARE: other suppliers sell an item called "shredded pine bark" which is actually pine slabwood that has been chipped. That material, while cheaper, is 90% wood and 10% bark and is NOT intended for acid-loving plants. It costs less because it is a lesser product. Ask for a sample and compare.

Michigan 100% Cedar
White Cedar from Michigan is an excellent all-purpose bark mulch. It has a shreddy texture to keep it positioned on sloping landscapes. It repels many insects, and decays at a very moderate rate. While the initial color fades in a few weeks, the silvery beige it becomes is very natural and soothing in appearance. Many items marketed as "Cedar Mulch" are actually 10% or less of cedar! We certify ours as 100% cedar.

This premium all bark, multi-purpose mulch decays quickly. This allows it to enrich your soil, nourish new trees and shrubs, and extend the growing season for better plant establishment. Hardwood bark is the perfect building block for building up your own rich, black topsoil. Because it generates more heat through the accellerated decay rate you need to use caution when spreading it around herbs, vegetables and annuals.

Clean Mill Wood Chips
These uniform squares of wood originate from a sawmill after the bark is removed from the log. Unlike tree-trimmers chips or land clearing chips, they contain no bark, branches, leaves, needles, pinecones or root material. The cleanest and most uniform of all the wood chips. Premium material for pet areas, foot paths and landscape areas that must withstand foot traffic. A mix of hardwood and pine.

Pine Straw Bales
Southern Georgia slash pine needles are 10" - 14" long and are hand baled (to prevent breakage) in lightweight, easy-to-handle bales of approximately 1/6 cu yd per bale. These are great for increasing the acid content to your soil, maintaining moisture and restricting weed growth. It has a great pine forest look with a natural reddish-brown color and an interesting texture alternative to wood mulch.

The end products is nothing like this mix! This is wonderful and worth it.
